Delerious - Sanjoy Das

Delerious by Sanjoy Das Mixed Media 34.0 x 22.0 :: Delirious was the first painting I created in the memory of my dear departed cousin “Baba”. He had passed away due to Covid pandemic at a tender age of 33 years only .This marathon painting series was done as an online exhibition where I was uploading images every other day with supporters encouraging me. This went on without any breaks from September 18 to November 2 2020. My friend’s encouragement and stinging critique helped me complete this difficult art making during such an emotional turmoil. It is also special because it generally takes me a couple of weeks or sometimes even months to conceptualize and complete a particular painting. This was nothing less than a miraculous achievement having completed 25 art works. I feel I somehow was in the flow state or in the zone where the ego falls away and art just happens spontaneously! :: Type: Mixed Media Style: Metaphysical Subject: Religious & Inspirational Width: 34.0 Height: 22.0 Depth: 0.1 Weight: 1.7 lbs Framed: no :: All art on Zatista is original and signed.
