Dümler & Breiden – Vintage Ceramic Pitcher & Sculptural Bowl Set – Germany – 1960s A striking vintage ceramic set by Dümler & Breiden, Germany, dating approximately from the 1960s. The set consists of 2 matching pieces: 1 sculptural pitcher / jug with large curved handle and expressive elongated spout 1 large organically shaped decorative bowl Both pieces feature a beautiful brown, bronze and dark earth-toned glaze with subtle variations and a characteristic mid-century modern appearance. The irregular sculptural forms and textured glaze give the set a strong 1960s German studio pottery / Mid-Century Modern character. The pitcher measures approximately 16–17 cm high, while the bowl measures approximately 17 cm across. The base bears the Dümler & Breiden mark / model number, visible in the photographs. Condition The set is in very good vintage condition, especially considering its age. Minor signs of age and use may be present.
