Dalí after - Sculpture, ***Portrait de Picasso*** - 13 cm - Polystone

Salvador Dalí after – Portrait of Picasso (1947) – Hand-painted sculptural figurine Discover this astonishing artistic figurine published by Parastone, inspired by the surrealist work Portrait of Picasso, created by Salvador Dalí in 1947. This three-dimensional sculpture translates into volume the singular and provocative universe of the master of surrealism. The elongated and expressive face of Pablo Picasso, the distorted features, the dark hair and the spoon extended by a small mandolin compose a scene as intriguing as it is original. The warm colors, the sculpted details and the hand-painted finishes give this piece a unique character. The presence of a red carnation on the base and the exaggerated shapes of the face reinforce its surrealist aesthetic, instantly recognizable. More than a simple decorative figurine, this creation pays homage to the artistic meeting between two major figures of modern art: Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso. It will naturally find its place in a collection devoted to surrealism, 20th-century art, or unusual art objects.
