Contemporary Diamond and Emerald Bracelet in White Gold, c. 2000

As many different forms as bracelets can take, they can all be divided into just two basic types: One type of bracelet presents a showpiece at its center, a specially designed highlight. The other type of bracelet dispenses with this and wraps itself around the arm like an endless row of identical elements. Both types have their advantages and disadvantages. In terms of wearing comfort, however, bracelets designed as a uniform row have a decisive advantage: they can sit a little loosely and twist around the arm as desired - and still always look good! This bracelet belongs to the second type. It is designed as a series of uniform links that are worn without interruption around the wrist. We see octagonal links set with sparkling diamonds and bars set with green emeralds between them. This creates a beautiful rhythm. The bracelet is made from high-carat white gold and features more than two carats of emeralds and more than two carats of diamonds. It is in very good condition and was created in the last few decades, although stylistically it pays homage to the elegant, geometric style of Art Deco. The bracelet will be delivered with an independent gemological appraisal.
