A group of vintage maritime ephemera from the Cunard White Star Line, primarily centered on the ocean liner R.M.S. Berengaria. The collection includes two First Class Passenger List booklets featuring color Art Deco-style cover illustrations of ship funnels. One booklet corresponds to a voyage sailing from New York to Cherbourg and Southampton on Friday, December 7, 1934, under Captain Sir Edgar Britten. the second booklet corresponds to a voyage from Southampton and Cherbourg to New York on Wednesday, April 10, 1935, also under Captain Sir Edgar Britten. The lot further includes a printed Cunard White Star Lines baggage tag for a passenger named Mrs. Hansa Larssilen, marked Wanted for stateroom B 180 on the Berengaria sailing December 7. The tag lists wharf locations for New York, Boston, Halifax, and Montreal. Accompanying the items is a modern yellow handwritten research note identifying notable passengers from the December 1934 manifest, including J.B. Priestley, Hugh Walpole, and Mr. and Mrs. Brinsley Plunkett. Dimensions: See Desc.
