Coffee table - Mid-Century coffee table in wrought iron...

Elegant vintage Mid-Century Modern style coffee table dating from the 1960s. It features a black lacquered wrought-iron base, finely crafted with elegant decorative scrolls and curved feet. Its rectangular top presents a checkerboard pattern alternating solid black tiles and glazed ceramic tiles. The latter are adorned with superb polychrome illustrations detailing traditional scenes of hunting with hounds (riders in red coats, horses and packs of dogs). Condition: Very good overall. The piece has been remarkably preserved: the ceramic top shows no cracks or chips, retaining all the brilliance and shine of its original glaze. The wrought-iron structure is perfectly stable, sound, and robust. A distinctive piece ideal for adding a retro-chic and equestrian touch to a contemporary interior. The top is very easy to dismantle. Carefully protected packaging during shipment of your mysterious object.
