Coat rack - Beech - Curved beech wood

Elegant vintage wall-mounted coat rack in a Thonet design, with five large curved hooks made of beechwood in a warm, dark brown tone. On the rear wooden rod there is a stamped mark visible: “MADE IN RUMANIA”. From the first half of the 20th century, Thonet-Mundus produced a lot of work in Romania, marked with this spelling that was common at the time in English. This continued until the middle of the second half, when gradually 'Rumania' was more often written as 'Romania'. This graceful coat rack, in excellent condition with no notable damage and with the original wall hooks, is carefully packed and shipped insured, incl. Track & Trace.
