Citizen Promaster Unite White Blue Ice - Limited Edition Citizen launches this new Eco-Drive diver as part of the Citizen project “UNITE with BLUE”: it is a water-resistant dive watch up to 300 meters in a limited edition dedicated to the oceans, a source of life, a version with a dial featuring structured colors. The Promaster model on auction is powered by the Cal. E365 movement, which has boosted autonomy performance to 365 days of continuous operation starting from a full charge, even in the most challenging environments and in the low-light conditions encountered by divers, and adopts a decidedly distinctive dial made with the structured colors of FUJIFILM Corporation, a technology that uses pigment-free ink yet able to reflect light, creating beautiful shades and faithfully representing ocean colors at depth. A common thread between the two technologies is light, both as a form of clean energy, a central theme of Citizen Eco-Drive technology, and as illumination, since the light shining on the watch creates beautiful color nuances that seem to be taken from the seabed. Completing the watch are the crown at 4 o’clock with its crown guard, the shape of the hour markers and hands, and finally the unidirectional rotating bezel silhouette. The strap is made in BENEBiOLTM2, a vegetation-based polyurethane. CITIZEN adopted BENEBiOL for its straps because it is resistant to hydrolysis when exposed to moisture and has a reduced environmental impact.
