VAGARY by CITIZEN - New Edition SPORT CAR Vagary Sport Car Chronograph Collection Citizen-made in Japan quartz movement. The watch is new, complete with all original accessories. A chronograph that on the wrist does not go unnoticed. For our Catawiki customers, 2+3 years of international warranty TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS The case features clean lines, robust workmanship, and a well-balanced overall design. The steel finish is pleasant, with satin-finished front surfaces and polished side surfaces. The fixed black bezel bears the 10-hour scale, in homage to professional sub-dials, and is decorated with grooves running along the edge. The crown is protected by two guards, and the chronograph pushers are well positioned and easily operable. The case diameter is 42 mm, with a lug-to-lug distance of 48 mm and a thickness of 12 mm: relatively compact dimensions that fit most wrists; moreover, on the wrist the rounded edge of the bezel makes the watch appear smaller than it is. The dial is covered by a Hardlex scratch-resistant glass crystal. The screw-down case back has a water resistance of 10 bar (or 100 meters, if you prefer), more than enough for everyday needs and even for a dip in a pool or at the seaside (not for professional diving). DIAL CRAFTED DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL The dial, in marine blue metallic, is designed for easy readability: indices and hands are large, highly legible, and luminescent. The indices are raised and of the cup-type, with a chrome-edged border. The 12 o’clock index is triangular to enhance visibility. The hour and minute hands are baton-shaped. The sub-dials, arranged in a clover pattern, are adorned with concentric circles that reflect light differently depending on the viewing angle. On the right is the 24-hour sub-dial, at the bottom the chronograph seconds, and on the left the 12-hour counter. The date window is positioned at 4 o’clock. A WELL-BALANCED MOVEMENT The movement powering the watch is the Miyota JS05, a battery-powered quartz chronograph fully produced and assembled in Japan, known for robustness, reliability, and ease of use. Functions include hours/minutes/seconds, chronograph with 1-second sweep and 30-minute counter, 24-hour time, and date. The central links are polished, the side links are brushed. The clasp is a push-button deployment with Vagary branding and three micro-adjustment positions. If you wish to replace it with a custom strap, it pairs wonderfully with navy blue or brown leather with white contrast stitching. Complete with box and official 2+3 year warranty.
