Christofle - Teapot - Silverplated

Silver-plated metal teapot by the French manufacturer Christofle. A refined example of mid-19th century European silverware, ideal for collectors of antique French silverware, decorative arts, and vintage tableware. The piece can be attributed to Christofle's production of the second half of the 19th century. The marks present — the characteristic oval mark with two capital "C" letters (initials of Charles Christofle), the balance, the bee and palm-like branches, together with the serial number 188367 and the silver content marks in lozenge-shaped cartouches — allow for the identification of the production period. Please note that not all marks are necessarily present on every component: buyers are invited to examine the photographs carefully. The teapot features finely detailed vegetal decoration. The handle is fitted with a wooden insert. The original burner is included (no fuel inside).
