CHINA. Yunnan. Tael, ND (1943-44). Hanoi Mint. PCGS MS-61.

Tantalizingly Toned "Large Stag's Head" Tael CHINA. Yunnan. Tael, ND (1943-44). Hanoi Mint. PCGS MS-61. L&M-436; K-939 var. (small stag's head); KM-A4; WS-0705; Lec-326. Type with large stag's head. Already standing as the FAR RARER of the two types featuring a stag's head, this tremendous survivor not only offers surfaces that are free from both circulation and problems, it also displays some of the most engaging and enchanting toning that one will ever encounter for these Yunnanese trade issues. A thoroughly captivating ring of blazing iridescence envelopes the otherwise argent natures of each side, making this a colossal representative for those seeking RARITES with tremendous character. Just one has been graded finer in the PCGS census. Estimate: $50,000 - $75,000. Provenance: Ex: DVH Collection. Ex: Liu G. Z. Collection. Click here for certification details from PCGS. Image with the PCGS TrueView logo is obtained from and is subject to a license agreement with Collectors Universe, Inc. and its divisions PCGS and PSA.
