全部拍賣 / Carpets, Rugs & Textile / China - Carpet - 363 cm - 272 cm - Chinese wool rug
A light beige ground and delicate floral arrangements give this hand-knotted wool rug from China its calm aura. Flowers in cream, rose, and apricot merge with bluish-gray accents and gray-green leaves. Two larger, diagonally arranged bouquets and two smaller sprigs of blossoms decorate the corner areas and leave the generous center open. The wide rose-colored border frames the light inner field. Individual floral motifs extend beyond the transition between inner field and border and loosen the straight framing. The soft color transitions and the differently sized clusters give the oriental rug a restrained, romantic note. With its dimensions of 363 × 272 cm, this rectangular rug is suitable for a generous living area. It visually connects sofa, coffee table, and additional armchairs into a seating group. Cream-colored upholstery and light wooden furniture pick up the warm base tones. Cushions or curtains in old rose and sage green complement the floral details and create a cohesive link to the furnishings.
