CHINA. Brass 350 Yuan Pattern, 1981. Bronze Age Discoveries. NGC PROOF-63

Exceptionally Rare Brass Pattern Featuring a Bronze Age Rhinoceros CHINA. Brass 350 Yuan Pattern, 1981. Bronze Age Discoveries. NGC PROOF-63 Cameo. KM-Unlisted. Diameter: 27mm. Bronze Age Discoveries. Type II. Rhinoceros. An EXTREMELY RARE and quite possibly UNIQUE pattern issue that emanates from a remarkable series of such patterns. This design was ultimately selected for the gold 400 Yuan type struck later in 1981 (Fr-10; KM-48). Some lightly scattered scuffs and marks are noted in the brilliance of the fields, but this choice specimen also presents an alluring coppery tone to add further charm and appeal.
