IN HIGHLIGHT: • Iconic Corvette ZR1 equipped with the renowned 5.7-liter aluminum LT5 V8 engine • Original signature by Dave McLellan (Corvette Chief Engineer) on the engine plenum • Mechanics entirely original STORY/PANORAMA: The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 (C4 generation), introduced in the late 1980s and produced through the 1990s, is nicknamed the "King of the Hill" for its extraordinary performance. Developed in collaboration with Lotus and produced by Mercury Marine, it mounted the exclusive all-aluminum twin-cam LT5 V8 engine. This specimen boasts a highly collectible feature: an original autograph placed directly on the engine by Dave McLellan, the historic Corvette Chief Engineer who succeeded Zora Arkus-Duntov. The car has sat idle for several years. BODYWORK/PAINT: The bodywork is generally in good condition. The seller notes only a few minor signs of use commensurate with age, extensively documented in the attached photo gallery. INTERIORS: The cabin remains in overall good condition. The upholstery and original finishes show natural signs of wear and the passage of years. MECHANICS: The vehicle is drivable and completely original.
