Molenkamp studied, among other things, at the Academy of Visual Arts St. Joost in Breda. Initially she works as a drawing teacher alongside her work. Gradually painting takes over. After she wins a prize, she exhibits more and more, including with Eugène Brands, and later with many others in increasingly renowned galleries.
