Stunning pair of vintage chairs released by Self in the pure style of the famous Baumann house's creations (Gondola model). These chairs feature an elegant, organic, enveloping silhouette typical of 1960s-1970s design. Their tinted wood frame with soft curves supports a generously padded seat and backrest, dressed in a textured striped fabric in warm tones of beige, brown, and taupe. Note: the color of the wood veneers differs slightly between the two chairs, reflecting the unique character of these pieces. Under the seats, the inscription "Self" testifies to their authenticity. At once comfortable and sculptural, they will bring a retro, chic, and characterful touch to a dining room or an office. Condition: Good vintage condition. The fabric of the backrests and seats is in perfect condition. They show some normal signs of wear on the wood, related to time and use, quite normal for pieces that have lasted through the decades, which contributes to their authentic charm.
