Elegant set consisting of 6 dining/living room chairs in Louis XV style, made of solid wood finely hand-carved with seats and backs in Vienna straw woven. The chairs feature the typical gently curved silhouette of the French Rococo period: Structure and Carvings: Relief-carved floral motifs on the crest rail of the backrest and on the under-seat fascia. Legs: Elegant front cabriole legs with serpentine curves, with decorative mouldings along the profiles and small carved motifs on both the upper joints and the small feet. Backrest and Seat: Both equipped with hand-woven Vienna straw, which adds a touch of lightness and formal elegance. Conditions: In generally excellent conservational condition. The wooden structure is solid and stable; the Vienna straw weave is intact and well tense. There are slight and normal signs of wear consistent with the era and use. A complete set of 6 chairs, ideal to enhance a classic dining room, a lounge, or an eclectic-styled environment.
