Candelabrum (2) - Brass - Beehive Candlesticks

**Pair of English Brass Beehive Candlesticks – Circa 1900 – RD 223580** A matching pair of English brass candlesticks with beehive-shaped sections, faceted decorative knops and square bases with chamfered corners. Both candlesticks are stamped “ENGLAND / RD 223580”. This registered design number dates the design to 1893. The pair is estimated to date from the late 19th or early 20th century; the precise manufacturing date is unknown. The candlesticks feature internal candle ejector rods. Their operation has not been tested. Measurements: - Height: approximately 30 cm each. - Base: approximately 10 × 10 cm each. - Individual weights: 459 g and 440 g. - Combined weight: 899 g. Condition: used antique condition, with patina, surface scratches, areas of discolouration and minor irregularities to the rims. The iron components underneath show rust.
