Caliendo Gianluca " Linfame21 " - Geometra dell' anima xxl

Visual and Material Analysis The work presents itself as an intense architecture of color and matter, where the spatula application defines a dynamic grid of rectangles and layered fields. The surface is characterized by a thick, corporeal stratification (impasto) that preserves the visible mark of the artistic gesture: scrapes, calculated smudges, and superimpositions that reveal the underlying tones. Chromatic Contrast and Dynamism On the chromatic plane, the painting lives by a dialectical tension between warm and energetic tones (magenta reds, fiery oranges, ochre yellows) and cool, contemplative hues (emerald green, ultramarine, turquoise, deep blue). This contrast between opposing chromatic poles creates a continuous rhythm, guiding the viewer’s eye from one block to another and generating a deep sense of spatial depth and inner vibration. Meaning and Poetics In perfect coherence with Linfame21’s artistic research, the canvas embodies the concept of “perfect imperfection.” The apparent rigidity of the geometric forms is continually broken and humanized by the unpredictability of the pigment. The individual color blocks appear as tiles of memory or fragments of lived experience that, rather than remaining isolated, join together to form a cohesive and powerful work. It is a work that exudes resilience and vital strength: the dense color becomes a vehicle of catharsis, where expressive urgency transforms into a balanced and impactful dialogue between visceral energy and compositional harmony. Created entirely by hand with acrylics on canvas, it is an original piece signed by the artist *Gianluca Caliendo – Linfame21*, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Signed by Gianluca Caliendo, master of contemporary figurative art, this painting is part of the more evocative vein of his work, celebrated in international events such as Maestri in Miami, Star of Art in Los Angeles. Featured in private collections across Europe and the United States. The artist signs as “Linfame21,” the self-taught Gianluca Caliendo, a challenge to the illness that affected him and that he faced with courage. Originally from Salerno, since 2012 he lives in the province of Cuneo. Married with two children, passionate about art and life, he dedicates himself to painting in his later years after a not-always-easy period. In 2021 he was struck by a lymphoma (hence the pseudonym Linfame21 under which he signs his works); he approaches art with tools to fight the disease. The painting is ready to be hung and is provided with a certificate of authenticity. Please note that the colors in the images may differ slightly due to different lighting conditions during photography and the characteristics of the camera. The artwork will be carefully protected and shipped in robust packaging. For purchases outside the EU, shipping will be carried out within 10 business days of receipt of payment, taking into account any bureaucratic delays.
