The bottom section opens with two solid doors, also decorated with diamond-point motifs (six panels each) and chased fittings. The furniture rests on a sturdy plinth with a lower cut and moulded crosspiece. Condition : The piece is in good overall condition for its age, with a superb original patina. It shows normal signs of wear (small nicks, minor edge wear) that attest to its authenticity and do not affect its structure or aesthetics. The fittings and locks are original. Features : Origin: Spain or Portugal. Period: 17th–18th century. Material: Solid wood with a dark stain (oak or walnut). Style: Iberian Baroque.
