全部拍賣 / Ethnographic / Butterfly Taxidermy full body mount - Morpho didius - 23...
Morpho didius — Peru Originating from the tropical forests of Peru, the Morpho didius spreads wings of an iridescent blue of rare breadth, whose brilliance shifts with every angle of light. A structural, living color that no pigment could imitate — and that each specimen expresses in its own way, with its own variations in hues and patterns. This one exists in only a single specimen in the world. Its veins, its nuances, the infinitesimal asymmetries between the wings — none of this will ever be reproduced identically. It is the silent law of life, and that is precisely what makes this frame irreplaceable. Before reaching your walls, this specimen passed through the hands of an entomologist. A meticulous process, invisible to the naked eye but decisive: hydrating the specimen, carefully unfolding each wing, maintaining the posture during drying, ensuring that every detail is highlighted as it deserves. A craft that turns a natural specimen into a piece worthy of a cabinet of curiosities. Presented on a black background in a 23x23x5 cm shadow box, equipped with an UV-protective acrylic glass and a professional-quality finish, this specimen is far more than a decorative object — it is a unique and unimitable fragment of the natural world, frozen forever:)
