Burmese amber, also known as Burmite, originates from northern Myanmar and dates to the mid-Cretaceous period, approximately 99 million years ago. It offers a remarkable glimpse into an ancient ecosystem inhabited by early arachnids and insects. The piece has been carefully shaped and polished to enhance its transparency and reveal the preserved inclusion. Small internal particles, natural fissures and minor surface irregularities are characteristic of genuine fossil amber.
