Elegant tambour desk (roll-top desk / bureau) made in the second half of the 20th century in wood with warm walnut tones, characterized by carvings with sculpted rosettes on the door and drawers. Features and construction: - Upper part: Roll-top with lock and original key included and in perfect working order. The interior hides a small cabinet consisting of a central open compartment, two arched niches, and two decorative pull-out drawers. - Lower part: Equipped with 3 large front drawers with brass/metal decorative knobs. The first inner drawer features an elegant decorative lily motif. Conditions and wear: The piece presents generally good vintage condition. There are mild and natural signs of use and age on the wood surface (small superficial scratches and slight wear on the edges and on the supporting feet), clearly visible in the photos, which attest to its age without compromising its stability or aesthetic-functional beauty. Solid construction and smooth-running drawers.
