This specimen preserves an excellent original mint lustre, sharp reliefs and clean fields, with minimal surface marks consistent with the MS65 grade. Issued during the period of the Brazilian First Republic, it represents one of the most characteristic silver denominations of the country’s monetary system in the early decades of the 20th century.
