Antique Art Nouveau silver chatelaine box / pendant – floral blackberry decoration – 800 silver – c. 1900 A charming antique Art Nouveau silver miniature box, designed to be worn suspended from a chatelaine, long guard chain or lady's belt. Crafted in 800 silver, the hinged oval box is beautifully decorated in high relief with an elegant branch of blackberry leaves and berries, a characteristic naturalistic motif of the Art Nouveau movement. Hallmarks Marked 800 for solid silver. Additional maker's or assay mark present but indistinct.
