Bodega Submarina del Mediterráneo

CH01 · The First Edition · Released in 2026 480 bottles released to market. Fully allocated through pre-sale. One of the winery’s last private-reserve bottles, offered directly for this auction. Every collection has a beginning. For Bodega Submarina del Mediterráneo’s underwater Champagne, that beginning is CH01. Born in Champagne, France, and matured beneath the Mediterranean Sea, CH01 brings together French Champagne heritage and the underwater ageing journey of Bodega Submarina del Mediterráneo. The winery launched this inaugural edition in 2026, releasing just 480 bottles to market. CH01 is a non-vintage Champagne: 2026 identifies the year of this first release, not the harvest year. The entire commercial allocation was sold through pre-sale, and no bottles remain available through the winery’s regular sales channels. The bottle offered here is one of the last examples retained in the winery’s private reserve, now released specifically for this auction. This first edition was issued without individual bottle numbering. The 480-bottle figure refers to the total commercial release; it is not a serially numbered collection. This bottle is unnumbered, consistent with the original presentation of the edition. Its underwater journey remains visible on the glass. Marine deposits, delicate encrustations and the textured exterior give this particular bottle an individual character—a physical record of its time beneath the Mediterranean. Presented in its original engraved wooden case, this lot offers an opportunity to acquire an example of CH01’s inaugural release directly from the winery.
