全部拍賣 / Contemporary Art / Blek Le Rat (1951) & Shepard Fairey (1970) & Sybille Prou...
« David with Machine Gun » - Artist's Proof (AP) - Serigraphy, 2008 In 2008, two major figures of street art met: Blek le Rat (Xavier Prou), a pioneer of stencil in Paris since the early 1980s and an acknowledged influence on an entire generation of artists, including Banksy, and Shepard Fairey, aka OBEY, creator of the poster « Hope » that same year. From this collaboration comes « David with Machine Gun », a screen print where the armed David motif, Blek le Rat's emblematic image, dialogues with OBEY's graphic language.
