Black Sabbath - Master Of Reality (Germany) – PICTURE...

A highly unusual German picture disc edition of Black Sabbath's legendary third album Master Of Reality, issued on Vertigo under catalogue number 6360 050. This edition presents the entire album as a full picture disc, housed in an original specially printed die-cut display sleeve designed to showcase the record itself rather than conceal it. The sleeve was printed in Germany by Carl v. d. Linnepe, a distinctive production choice that sets this release apart from the standard Vertigo LP editions found elsewhere. Master Of Reality stands as one of the essential albums from Black Sabbath's classic Ozzy Osbourne period and contains some of the band's most celebrated recordings, including "Sweet Leaf," "After Forever," "Children Of The Grave," "Lord Of This World," "Solitude" and "Into The Void." For collectors, this German picture-disc variation holds particular appeal: it combines the artistic and musical power of the classic album with a much more unusual and visually striking format, all preserved in its purpose-made original packaging. The picture disc itself functions as both musical recording and visual presentation, a format rarely applied to this album. ⸻ Die-Cut Sleeve (VG+): The original printed die-cut sleeve remains in very nice condition overall. Light corner wear is visible, consistent with careful handling and storage, but there is no major distracting damage and the sleeve continues to present very well → VG+ Picture Disc (EX): The picture disc is in excellent condition and presents extremely well. Only very light signs of previous handling or play are evident across the playing surface. A strong and attractive example → EX ⸻ Details * German Vertigo picture disc pressing * Catalogue: 6360 050 * Full picture disc * Original printed die-cut display sleeve * Sleeve printed by Carl v. d.
