Why you shouldn’t miss it: A volume of this bulk, with over 1300 pages and in such excellent preservation, represents a rare piece for bibliophiles, collectors of historical religious texts, and lovers of antique bookbinding. The combination of the marbleized endpapers, the robust half-leather binding, and the sharpness of the typeface make it an adornment and a high-value cultural object.
