Fitted with the famous 4,887 cm³ inline six engine, it represents one of the most elegant and refined expressions of post-war British motoring. The specimen presented here is one of the very rare left-hand drive versions delivered new in France, European. Ordered by Mr. Félix Goudard of Paris in April 1956, it still preserves today all original features, as evidenced by the attached documentation. The car retains its original two-tone color scheme, the engine number matching Bentley records, and the interior and exterior finishes conforming to the birth configuration. EXTERIOR The bodywork is finished in the rare and elegant factory original Bentley gray two-tone scheme. The repainting was professionally carried out recently and presents in superb overall condition, with only light signs consistent with the vehicle’s age. The bumper and horn trims have been freshly restored, the headlights are those installed at the birth of the car, as reported in the factory extract. Recently a professional polishing and detailing treatment has also been performed. A coating thickness check did not reveal any signs of accidents or significant structural repairs. The underbody is solid and well preserved, with no visible accident traces and in conditions compatible with normal use. INTERIOR The interiors are largely original and finished in real leather, preserved with great care over the years. The instrument panel retains the original metric instrumentation and all the specific details of the birth specimen. The wood veneers and fittings are original and in beautiful condition, as befits a representative car of this level. The front and rear central carpeting has recently been restored and is in very good condition. The door panels are original and well preserved, as is the headlining. The characteristic standard steering wheel completes the ensemble, also in good condition. MECHANICS The engine is the original, in line with the factory birth certificate attached by Bentley. Recently a new starting motor, complete, original, and restored with invoices and photos, has been installed. However, the engine turns over but does not start, likely due to a long period of inactivity. The brakes are free. The car has not been used in recent years as it was kept in a private collection; the technical inspection has expired years ago.
