Vintage Benrus wristwatch, one of the most fascinating historic brands in American watchmaking. Its evolution reflects the great changes of the 20th century, moving from Art Deco luxury to elite military supply. It features a distinctive square case with decorated lugs (fancy/teardrop lugs) typical of the era, yellow gold-plated 10K. The cream-colored dial shows alternating Arabic numerals and gold-colored applied geometric indices. It has a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o'clock. Manual-wind mechanical movement, Benrus Model DN 21. This is a customized movement based on the prestigious Swiss manufacturing ETA. Functioning with a brown leather strap in excellent condition.
