Bench - Teak - Teak wood bench

A characterful and very sturdy long wooden bench, artisanally crafted from robust solid wood (teak / recycled hardwood). The bench is characterized by its authentic appearance with visible mortise-and-tenon joints in the seat and sturdy slanted legs. Under the seating there is a practical underframe with slats, which makes the bench not only visually appealing but also highly functional as a hallway bench, shoe rack, or decorative display bench. The wood shows a beautiful natural grain and a warm, matte finish with a rugged character. Made from old Indonesian scrap wood, so no extra trees were cut. Recycled teak is simply teak that has been given a second life. The recycled teak beams and planks formerly formed a house, boat, railway sleeper, or rice trough. Since they were no longer needed for that purpose, they were processed again after a strict selection and treatment into, for example, garden furniture. Recycled teak still contains all the properties of new teak, only no trees need to be cut. It also avoids wasting good quality materials unnecessarily. It is therefore a sustainable and socially responsible alternative to new teak. This attractive and decorative bench is very nice, for example, as living-room or garden decoration, under a canopy, or in a bathroom. The bench has a height of 45 cm, a length of 140 cm, and a depth of 31 cm. Additionally, the bench weighs around 13 kg. The seating surface is 140 cm x 23 cm. Each bench is handmade and unique, so it may differ slightly from the photo. Pickup free in Zeeland or via delivery with "Brenger".
