Polished Polychrome Jasper Lingam on Metal Stand – Madagascar A striking polished Polychrome Jasper lingam from Madagascar, presented on the black metal stand shown in the photographs. This specimen displays a particularly elegant combination of soft pink, rosy red, cream, blush and pale beige tones, arranged in flowing natural bands and cloudy mineral areas. Some sides show broader fields of warm pink and red, while others reveal more layered cream and rose banding, giving the piece a different visual character from every angle. The high polish enhances the stone’s natural depth and colour variation, bringing out subtle internal details, fine veins and softly mottled areas across the surface. Its elongated lingam shape gives the piece a refined sculptural presence, further emphasized by the contrast with the dark metal base. Polychrome Jasper, also known as Desert Jasper, is appreciated for its rich earthy palette and naturally abstract patterns created by mineral inclusions over geological time. In this example, the softer pink and cream tones give the piece a particularly delicate and decorative appearance.
