BAUDRY (Paul) Paul Baudry. Photographic portrait and biographical study. [Paris, late 19th century]. A double-sided printed sheet devoted to the painter Paul Baudry (1828–1886). The front side features a photographic portrait of Baudry embedded in the text, as well as several excerpts from the artist’s correspondence with Bergerat, followed by a biographical commentary. The reverse side continues the study of the painter, covering his training, his teachers, and in particular his work on the sets for the Paris Opera.
