B636 - 500 x 135 cm - 100% pura seta - eccellenza di Como...

This elegant cut of pure silk represents the excellence of the ancient Como textile tradition, famous worldwide for quality and refinement. The color is an intense and vibrant oxford/cerulean blue, characterized by shifting highlights that vary in intensity depending on light and the fabric’s folds. It features a visibly well-defined diagonal/micro-twill weave (similar to grosgrain or heavy silk satin), which provides substance, robustness, and excellent structural hold while maintaining a sober and sophisticated sheen. With a weight of 1000 grams for 5 meters (approximately 148 g/m2), it is a mid-heavy weight silk, endowed with a full, sculptural, and supported drape. It is not a slippery veil, but a rich textile that holds folds and volumes well. Measuring 500 cm x 135 cm (ideal height for haute couture tailoring and interior design): * Tailoring and Haute Couture: Perfect for elegant outerwear (overcoats, light trenches), structured jackets, pleated or full-circle skirts, sculptural evening/ceremonial gowns or wedding/ceremonial dresses with defined volumes. * Interiors and Home Decor: Ideal for high-prestige draperies, decorative cushions, upholstered coverings for armchairs, bed headboards, or textile wall coverings.
