Aurora Benvenuto Cellini – Hong Kong 1997 Limited Edition no. 105/300 Rarest Aurora Benvenuto Cellini, commemorative edition created in 1997 for Hong Kong and produced in only 300 numbered pieces worldwide. This specimen is no. 105/300. The fountain pen is made of sterling silver 925, coated in 23 kt gold (vermeil), and features a particularly elegant finish that highlights Aurora’s Italian jewelry-making tradition. The contrast between the pen’s minimalist form and the richness of the gold surface gives the pen a refined, timeless appearance. It is equipped with an original Aurora nib in solid 18 kt gold, Fine (F) size, with pleasant writing elasticity, and with the traditional piston filling system. The clip echoes the classic Aurora style. Condition Mint / New Old Stock – never inked and never used. The pen presents in exceptional condition, without scratches, dents, cracks, or signs of wear. The gold plating is perfectly preserved and the engravings are crisp. It has been inspected and is ready to be used. Benvenuto Cellini The edition is dedicated to Benvenuto Cellini (1500–1571), one of the most representative figures of Italian Renaissance jewelry and art. Sculptor, goldsmith, and writer, Cellini compiled his experience in the famous Trattato dell’oreficeria, which has become an important reference for Italian goldsmithing over the centuries. Aurora aimed to evoke this tradition in the creation of this special edition, entrusting silver and gold with the task of turning a writing instrument into a true collectible object. The choice of precious materials and the extremely limited production of only 300 pieces make this Benvenuto Cellini one of the most interesting Aurora editions for the collector.
