Arturo Ferrari (1861-1932) - Interno Rustico con Camino

Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of late 19th-century Italian countryside with this magnificent interior scene attributed to the celebrated Milanese master Arturo Ferrari (1861-1932). Renowned for his meticulous historical setting perspectives, the artist gifts us here an intimate, luminous masterpiece of rural life. The composition is flawless: a faint morning light filters through the window, breaking the room's silence and illuminating a sleeping cat on a dark wooden settle, a crackling fireplace, and an elegant rustic chair. The depth of the room and the ceiling beams reveal a superb mastery of linear perspective. A rare and evocative work, of museum-quality, perfect for prestigious European 19th-century art collections and traditional luxury interiors. Technique: Oil on cardboard (a typical technique for studies and en plein air interior scenes of the late 19th century). Period: Late 19th / Early 20th century (circa 1890-1910). Frame: housed in a spectacular and heavy antique gilded wooden frame, which adds immense antique value and presence to the artwork. Condition: Excellent / Very good (The pictorial surface is beautifully preserved, colors are vivid and undistorted. The majestic contemporary gilded frame shows a magnificent patina with minimal and imperceptible signs of time that enhance its antiquity). Era: 19th - 20th century / 1890 - 1910. Color: warm ochre, rich walnut browns, gold leaf accents from the frame, and a soft blue-gray lighting ambiance. Signature: Present (Bottom right:
