Arthur Elgort (1940) - Deborah Harry

Promotional black-and-white photograph of Deborah Harry, taken by American photographer Arthur Elgort for the promotional campaign of Def, Dumb & Blonde, her solo album released in 1989 on Sire/Reprise Records. On the verso there is the handwritten annotation “Deborah Harry, singer” and the Houston Chronicle library label dated September 27, 1989. A clipping bearing the Saturday, February 3, 1990 stamp also accompanies the print. These elements make this photograph a period document particularly interesting for Deborah Harry collectors, fans of music photography, and enthusiasts of the late 1980s pop scene.
