Period: 09/2026 Origin: France Condition: new Artwork: *** “TIME IS MONEY — The Millionaire’s Game” *** Magnificent piece by Art Stray-Nos; here you can find the full symbolic power and provocative finesse of his universe: luxury, memory, and myth turned upside down in a sculpture that is both ironic and poetic. “Art Stray-Nos – ” Artist Description “Time is Money — The Millionaire’s Game” — Art Stray-Nos This unique piece, imagined and entirely realized by Art Stray-Nos, transforms the traditional backgammon game into a true decorative and functional work of art. The Backgammon Couture – Art Stray-Nos Art Stray-Nos here transforms one of the oldest strategy games into a genuine contemporary art object, at the crossroads between game, design, and haute couture. ♛ Backgammon “Time Is Money” — Art Stray-Nos Between strategy game, pop culture, and luxury codes, Art Stray-Nos reinvents backgammon in a spectacular creation where the world of watchmaking meets the Monopoly imagination. Entirely imagined and produced by Art Stray-Nos, this piece transforms the traditional game case into a true decorative work. The deep black of the case is crisscrossed by green, white, and gold, while an explosive graphic composition blends crowns, watches, banknotes, dice, and game pieces. At the heart of the work, the famous Monopoly-inspired character appears in a deliberately extravagant pose: glass in hand, surrounded by money and symbols of success. Facing him, the imposing watch and the golden crowns reinforce the confrontation between time, money, game, and power. The slogan “TIME IS MONEY” then becomes the guiding thread of the creation. A nearly literal formula in a backgammon where every move counts, where risks are taken and where, as in life, fortune and strategy can change in a few moves. Graphic projections, splashes, and street-art effects deliberately disrupt the very established codes of luxury. Gold adds shine, green provides an immediately recognizable identity, while black gives the whole thing depth and elegance. The work doesn’t stop at the case: the board, graphics, tokens, and different game elements have been designed and produced in the same universe by Art Stray-Nos, to form a coherent work even in its details. More than a backgammon, “Time Is Money” is a playable art object, halfway between contemporary sculpture, street art, and a collectible item. Creation: Art Stray-Nos — independent artistic piece. The Art Stray-Nos signature places this creation in the artist’s universe: turning luxury symbols into a new function and transforming a familiar object into a collectible piece. A creation where play becomes luxury, and luxury becomes play. The work is not limited to decorating an existing game: Art Stray-Nos designs the entire graphic universe of the piece and personally handles its customization and printing, down to the smallest details. At the boundary between art object, contemporary design, and collectible game, this creation boldly reinterprets luxury codes to give them a new artistic expression.
