Armchair - Modular armchairs in plaid fabric - Textile...

Original vintage modular sofa from the 1970s, composed of four independent elements/armchairs, characterized by a soft, enveloping line and a design that is decisively representative of the interior design of the era. The modular configuration allows the four elements to be used either joined as a single large sofa or separately, creating different compositions depending on space and needs. A solution particularly interesting for those seeking versatile vintage furnishings with a strong personality. The design is dominated by rounded, generously padded shapes, without visible wooden framework. The continuous volumes of seating, backrest, and armrests create a compact, sculptural silhouette, very close to the aesthetic research of Italian design in the 1970s, when the concept of comfort was often associated with soft, informal, and almost monolithic forms. The upholstery is particularly characteristic: a beige fabric with a black grid geometric pattern, paired with side panels in gray fabric, creating a pleasant chromatic and tactile contrast. The grid pattern further emphasizes the geometry of the elements and gives the ensemble a strong retro character. A rare and scenographic ensemble, ideal for vintage environments, interior design projects, venues, showrooms, or contemporary homes where a strong nod to 1970s aesthetics is desired. The armchairs show normal signs of wear due to age and use, some stains as shown in the photos.
