全部拍賣 / Miscellaneous / Armchair - Bamboo, Rattan - Bamboo armchair
Vintage bamboo and rattan armchair – Colonial / Boho style Elegant vintage bamboo and rattan armchair, featuring a handcrafted structure and a particularly attractive natural design. The frame is made from natural bamboo, with curved elements forming the armrests, backrest and legs. The seat and backrest are constructed from numerous thin rattan elements, individually attached to the frame with traditional handcrafted bindings. The geometric structure of the backrest, together with the curved armrests and exposed natural frame, gives the chair a distinctive appearance suitable for Colonial, rustic, boho chic, vintage or veranda interiors. Period: 20th century, vintage period. Style: Colonial, exotic, Boho Chic, veranda furniture. Materials: natural bamboo and rattan. Construction: handcrafted, with curved elements and traditional bindings. Measurements * Height: 80 cm * Width: 50 cm * Depth: 55 cm Condition The chair shows clear signs of age and use, consistent with its age and the natural characteristics of the materials. There are visible areas of wear, colour variation, small cracks and imperfections in the bamboo, as well as signs of previous repairs and bindings. A visible repair is present on the upper part of the backrest, as documented in the photographs. Other areas of the structure also show age-related wear and minor surface damage. Despite these imperfections, the chair retains its strong decorative vintage character and would make an attractive addition to a collector’s interior, an antique-inspired setting or a covered veranda. For preservation, it is recommended to use the chair indoors or in a covered, protected veranda, avoiding prolonged exposure to rain, moisture and direct sunlight. The photographs form an integral part of the description and clearly show the condition and imperfections of the item. Shipping: the chair will be carefully packaged for transportation. Estimated delivery time: 5–15 working days, depending on destination.
