Description This original work by Antoine Stevens features a female portrait of great intensity, where the finesse of drawing meets a free, contemporary gestural painting. The face, treated with remarkable precision, is enhanced with colorful veils, transparencies, and drips that bring depth and movement to the composition. The palette of powdery tones, blending pinks, ochres, grays, and browns, gives the whole a soft and luminous atmosphere. The spontaneous strokes of paint contrast with the mastery of the portrait, creating a subtle balance between realism and abstraction. Through this work, Antoine Stevens continues his exploration of the human figure by combining the tradition of the classical portrait with a decidedly contemporary handwriting inspired by urban art. An elegant and expressive piece, ideal for lovers of contemporary figurative painting. About the artist Born in 1987, Antoine Stevens is a French artist whose work sits at the intersection of contemporary figurative painting and urban art. For over ten years, he has developed a personal universe where the academic precision of drawing dialogues with the energy of graffiti, drips, and spontaneous paint interventions. Exhibited in France as well as internationally, notably in Luxembourg, London, Monaco and Singapore, he has gradually established himself thanks to a immediately recognizable style. His work draws on the masters of classical painting as much as the aesthetics of street art, creating a powerful and distinctly contemporary visual language. Through his portraits, Antoine Stevens seeks to reveal the beauty, strength and emotions of his subjects. His works, characterized by great technical mastery and strong sensitivity, attract a growing number of collectors in Europe and worldwide. Shipping The work will be shipped with its frame, carefully protected in reinforced professional packaging to ensure delivery under the best safety conditions. Note that the frame shows some light signs of wear, visible in the photographs, which have been taken into account in the description. The artwork itself is in excellent condition.
