Andrea Krauß - Sunlit Stillness_09 diptychon

Sunlit Stillness The painting, created in a mixed technique of watercolor and acrylic, shows birch trunks against an abstract green-gold background that evokes a sunlit forest. The composition and the reduction to a few elements direct the viewer’s gaze to the characteristic birch bark and the play of light and shadow. The background area is crafted with glaze-like color gradients and golden surfaces, creating depth and a subtle, atmospheric effect. Despite the clear structure, the image conveys calm and an almost meditative stillness—a moment of nature observation, captured in reduced form language. **The artwork at a glance:** - Diptych, two canvases each 70 x 50 cm, overall size 70 x 100 cm - Painting on two high-quality canvases, - With hanger attached and ready to hang - Acrylic painting richly impastoed - unique surface texture - Signed, numbered on the back and with all image details provided - Shipping is professionally wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap - Certificate of authenticity included Andrea Krauß, winner of the AOK Nordost Art Prize, Berlin/Brandenburg, and a fellow of the Lukas Artist House in Ahrenshoop, is a graduate of the HbK Braunschweig Art Academy.
