An ancient Roman silver crossbow fibula with a pronounced arched bow and a transverse head bar terminating in three rounded, onion-shaped knob terminals. The bow and foot are decorated with ring-and-dot decorations arranged between incised linear divisions. -> Crossbow fibulae developed during the third century and became particularly prominent during the Late Roman period.
