Ancient Roman - Gallo-Roman glass bottle - magnificent...

This bottle probably formed part of a dinner service. Very pretty iridescence. The glass is partially covered by a multicolored layer, formed by oxidation caused by the centuries. A light earthy layer covers the glass in places, left intentionally but can be removed with a simple damp cloth. Gallo-Roman period, 2nd century AD. Dimensions: height 13.8 cm x diameter 6.2 cm.
