“I hereby declare, I, the undersigned, that the etrogim placed in the boxes have all been carefully inspected, sealed in my presence and before my eyes, and stamped with my seal… I faithfully attest that they are kosher, without any doubt of prohibition… and that they have not been mixed with other varieties that might raise a question of hybridization. Thus, the entire congregation of Israel may fulfill the obligation of taking the fruit of a beautiful tree during the seven days of the Festival of Sukkot.
