The waxed finish is very dry in places consistent with water damage. There is also an area of loss to the veneer on the left-hand side approximately 2 cm x 2centimetres. The pair of doors enclosing the cupboard close together snugly but the latch to fix the left hand door is missing its slide, the right hand door key is missing. Both doors show surface dirt scuffs and scratches consistent with everyday use. The side panels of this bookcase are somewhat darker in colour to the front. There are some losses to the veneer on the front the largest of which is on the lower left 3 cm x 2cm there are however numerous knocks elsewhere including a large chip lower right just above the length base please see further images for condition.
