The example offered at auction is a 1981 model belonging to the second series, in its latest configuration. From 1980, some new interior features were introduced, including a steering lock, ashtray, and several switches. The car belongs to the 1,600 cc version delivered in Italy, is also part of the 115.35 series, produced in only 600 units, and retains the original engine and colors as per the Alfa Romeo certificate. EXTERIOR The bodywork is finished in Black, code 817, and was professionally restored in the past. Today the paintwork is in generally good condition, with only minimal signs from normal use. A recent polishing and detailing treatment has enhanced the overall appearance of the car. The bodywork is solid and a thickness gauge check showed no traces of accidents. The underbody is generally solid, ready for use and compliant with the technical inspection without accident traces. INTERIOR The interiors are trimmed in original Alfa Romeo Vipla and are in excellent overall condition, original and with only minor signs of use and time. The dashboard instrumentation is original and complete to the rare Unified series. A full sanitization has just been performed. The hood is original and in good condition; the outer fabric shows some wear but keeps water out and is usable. MECHANICS The engine is original as indicated by the registration document, type 526/A-S, displacement 1,600 cc, and as an original birth certificate from the Alfa Romeo museum. The engine has been completely professionally rebuilt about 3,000 km ago, as documented by photographs and invoices available. It starts easily and runs well. The brakes work correctly and the gearbox is functional, as are the suspensions with red springs, a new exhaust, new tires and alloy wheels. The last technical inspection has been passed and is valid until February 2027, and the car has just completed a test of over 100 km without issues.
