This iconic design object is part of the "The Chin Family" collection, born in 2007 from a prestigious collaboration between the Italian brand Alessi and the National Palace Museum of Taiwan. Made of sturdy thermoplastic resin and entirely hand-decorated. Its likeness evokes a graceful Chinese empress with a blue dress featuring floral motifs. The head doubles as a handy grip to operate the internal grinding mechanism, adjustable to finely or coarsely grind salt, pepper and aromatic herbs. New, packaged in the original box.
