Ensemble sugar bowl and milk pot by designer Michael Graves for Alessi, circa 1990. The sugar bowl with small spoon (reference 9097) is made of bright 18/10 stainless steel, featuring light-blue thermoplastic resin (PA) handles and a black finial. The milk pot (reference 9096) is in the same bright conical stainless steel style with matching handles. The style is a blend of Art Deco influences, American Pop Art, and postmodernism. The set, acquired around 1990, has been used exclusively as a decorative object, and thus shows only minimal signs of wear—tiny scratches on the base from rubbing.
